One Italian
day

Wedding photography and film across Italy, for couples who come a long way and want to remember how it actually felt.

About us

We stay back, so you stay yourselves

We are Sara and Alessandro. We photograph and film weddings in Italy, mostly for couples who are planning from another country and will see the place for the first time the day before.

We don't pose anyone, we don't interrupt, and we never ask you to do a moment again. We arrive early, learn everyone's names, and then spend the day where we need to be without being noticed. What comes back is your faces, not our ideas.

Sara shoots, Alessandro films, and between us there is one conversation instead of two suppliers pulling you in different directions.

What we do

Three ways to tell the same day

Photography

From getting ready to the last dance, with Sara alongside you the whole time.

  • Full-day coverage
  • A hand-edited gallery, usually 500 to 700 frames
  • Private online gallery you can share and download
  • A preview set within a week of the wedding

Photography and film

Both of us, one voice. This is how most couples book us.

  • Photography and film through the whole day
  • A six to eight minute film with live sound
  • A vertical sixty-second cut for sharing
  • Vows, speeches and ceremony kept in full as a separate file

Weddings over several days

For celebrations that take a whole weekend: welcome dinner, ceremony, lunch the day after.

  • Two or three consecutive days
  • A portrait session at golden hour, wherever you choose
  • An album printed in Italy and sent to you

Film

Seven minutes, no borrowed soundtrack

The voices are the real ones: the vows, the speeches, the wind on the microphone. Everything else comes out.

Where we work

All of Italy, and sometimes beyond it

Travel is already included for these regions. Anywhere else in Europe, we add flights and one night, at cost.

Words from couples

What they say afterwards

We had braced ourselves for a day of posing and instead we barely noticed them. The photos arrived and my mother cried for half an hour.

Planning a wedding in Puglia from London is frightening. This was the one part that never worried us.

Questions

What couples ask us first

How far ahead should we get in touch?

Twelve to eighteen months for dates between May and October. If you are closer than that, write anyway — dates do open up.

What does it cost?

It depends on the length of the day and whether you want film as well. Tell us the date and the venue and we will send the full details the same week.

Do you speak English?

Yes. We work in English with most of our couples, and we deal with the Italian suppliers on your behalf.

Is travel extra?

Not for the regions listed above. Outside those we add the real cost of flights and a night's stay, with nothing on top.

When do we get everything?

A preview set within a week, the full gallery within six weeks, and the film within eight.

How do we book you?

A signed agreement and a deposit hold the date. The balance is due the week before the wedding.
